Rainsford.Net is the vehicle used to showcase the digital portfolio of Richard Rainsford – as an online exhibition, and to demonstrate the range of services & products Rainsford.Net can supply.
I have been producing website's since 1998 and digital artwork for even longer. I have been employed in many locations doing a range of Apple based work , but not solely, for over 15 years.
My preferred digital environments are Apple Macintosh computers and even more so, these days with the emergence of OS X because of its stability due to being built on UNIX, the user friendly interface and the compatibility with a vast range of Open Source software.
My preferred online server environment is Apache, running PHP & MySql.
I also have a passion for remote travel & exotic cultures and have spent most of my free time in far flung places.
